Two clients I represented had cancer. The diagnosis for each cancer patient was delayed due to defective screening apparatus. Investigation revealed that one diagnosis was based on a defective MRI, and the other diagnosis was based on faulty lab work (PAP smear). Since there was a delay in diagnosis, the doctors wanted to use more aggressive treatments, but these treatments were denied by the health insurance carriers. Their treating physicians suggested they call me. On appeal, I was able to obtain the needed benefits for each of these patients.
